Actually the GT500 got walked by the turbo'd GT. Look at the steering wheel and you'll see the cobra on it because the camera went from the turbo'd GT to the Shelby for the last few runs.

You're right about this one, he is saying that his bottle pressure was down and he wasn't getting a full shot and next time the outcome will be different.

Nice vid and nice turbo stang. If all the LS1 had was short throw and a 100 shot I'd say he did fairly well.
How much power do those things put out stock? Isnt it like 375? With the 100 shot that would put him around 500?
Are you talking about the camaro? If so they were rated at 320-325 but put down around 300whp, so the SS in the vid should be around 400whp with the juice.

The curb weight of the GT 500 is 3920 lbs. and the 01 SS has a curb weight of approx. 3500 lbs. I'm not sure what the camaro is putting down but I believe that the race shows how much the weight really affects the gt 500. My car (the GT) weighs in the neighborhood of 3600lbs with stock 17 wheels and no turbo, I really need to see what she weighs now with the 18s and turbo setup, those big ole' 305/45-18 tires out back aren't light.
