Moving to Charleston SC. Where is a good place??

Hey guys we will soon to be moving cause she wants to finish her Masters in Nursing. I know the MUSC is right downtown. Where are some good places around there that won't require too much travel and are a nice place to live that won't break the bank??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance

Try James Island. Not too far away, but much cheaper than downtown living.

MT P is real nice, Daniel Island is also a nice upcoming area, as ^ he posted James Island is also nice and they are all within a few minutes of Downtown. There are some really good deals on new homes out in Summerville where I live, it's about a 20 minute drive to downtown though.
