I've gotten 48k miles on my car with the 2.93

Then the front bearings went bad and replaced it with a replacement snout kit from magnuson. The replacement kit came with a 2.93 pressed on the snout so I'm back in business.

The eaton is gonna be the part that fails as ygohome says. I just can't see our motors breaking down even with 2.93 pulleys, etc, unless they have the living hell beat out of them.

I mean theres people who have 100k supercharged miles on 2v 4.6 and they are still running strong.

I totally agree!!! I am expecting the eaton to take a dump on me early, especially w/the 2.80 pulley. That is a choice I made and will deal with it when the time comes. I can see the motor lasting a very long time as long as it is properly tuned and it is not beat on all of the time.

It all goes back to driving habits and abuse.
