I'm just adding up what my mods are at.

What I have done, what I'm in the process now and what is lef to be done.

I'm at $17,000+++ and I'm doing a bunch of the labor and getting the parts for almost cost.

I'm going to throw up now............. Wait.... I can't, since I'm modding my car I can't even eat!!!!!! LOL

As long as you think it's worth it, keep it up. I don't spend much on my car, not really into modding it like I was my old camaro ss.

Good Luck Kosher it's water under the bridge now. The only crappy part is if you look back and say " Hey I want a 600++rwhp stang" and make a plan.

It's much cheaper to go the V-6 or Gt route than 03' cobra when you include the price of the car.

The good part is you didn't and I'm sure had no plans to hurt the motor and be forced to replace it.

My only issue is once you start putting in strokers, auto's, solid rears....it's so much cheaper to by a V-6 or Gt and go that route.

Good Luck and hope to see great numbers soon.

I'm trying to take it slow with the Cobra, but it's an addiction. :)

I haven't been holding back well at all, I think I had all the normal bolt ons (pullies, xpipe, catback, shifter, airkit, etc) within 200 miles of owning the car.

Nice mods on the L!!!!! Sometimes I wish I had the L back to cruise around with.

I guess you won't be getting any new blinds for your house any time soon.

I understand.

Keep us informed!!! I will be upgrading to a new blower soon and need to know as much as possible.

Dont worry, there are quite a few on here who are well past your 17K. Some havent even had to replace their motors yet:eek:

Soon as you hop back into the driver seat you'll forget about all the money you just spent:beer:

I'd love to have my truck back to pull the Cobra to the track. :D I could run 10's in both vehicles then. I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too. The Cobra is so much funner to drive. Here's some pics of the truck: http://www.eldreth.net/boltpics.htm

I'm at about the same...

Apten $600
Steeda CAi $190
Steeda 2.8 $90
belt $29
Accufab $529
Dynomax cb $349
Triax $159
Steeda Adj $109
Nitto Dr's $370 pair
total labor about $400

total $2,825 CONSISTENT 11.50'S best of 11.40 at 122 and so far nothing broken , stock clutch. Lovin it.

I don't see an reason to go further at this point. Anything more and I will start to worry about breaking crap and lose the feeling of confidence I have with the car at this time.

It's quiet, rides smooth, and damn is it fast. Not many cars on the street will be able to beat me and damn is it fun to woop up on some bikes. Lol!

For me-- and please don't anyone take this the wrong way---If I spent 10-15k on my car--that bastard better run damn low to mid tens ALL DAy Long AND still be smooth driving and reliable. Again---FOR me... Just listen to that---run mid 10's and be smooth and comfortable... Lol! As little as 3 years ago , those statements would have been laughed at. Now we have the 03-04 Cobra. It has changed everything guys and gals. Chris

I'm with you Redfire1.....if i spend 17,000 dollars EXTRA on top of the 35,000 for the car, it better be close to the single-digit numbers in the quarter mile ! With just about 500 dollars in MODS, my car ran a 12.7 @110, sooooo.....it better knock off 2 seconds for 17,000 dollars !!!

Kosher,

I feel your pain... My Turbo Kit with new manifolds set me back 9K alone. Then it was another 2K for the Fuel kit to support the power. Yadda yadda yadda.. Well worth the money tho

Damn NBS4?? That was the kit for your Audi? Now I know why it's so damn fast... I'm into my car about 10k this year.... most exspensive was the HP turbo got it for 5500 and then the cobra tanks and pump another 700 gaskets 100, gauges 450, suspension 1500-2000, body work 2000... I hate cars they are so exspensive but so fun!
