Hybred, surprised you didnt sell the GT500. Would think you were eventually going to get a GT350. I have mixed feelings on the looks but performance is a step up in comparison to a GT500 (maybe not drag racing performance).

But then again, I noticed you were a roll racer, so maybe remaining a GT5hundo is your thing. :poke:

It's still for sale. ****.

And I'm not a "roll racer." GTFO with your labels. I'm an equal opportunity tire shredder. I'll be roll racing in two weeks, and the next day I'll be road racing.

But it's a GT500 how ever will you get past the first corner?

Hell yeah, nice work...that's quite the undertaking!

I can't imagine how much that sucked getting your hair caught in the creeper wheel though...I will be on extra high alert next time I'm under my car.

The bolts I ordered were allen head instead of hex head, there's no physical room for any sort of allen tool to get on these things. Who uses allen heads on header bolts? No, really? It's illogical.

Here's the coolant line I crushed. This is gonna suck huh...:(

Hybred bruised her hand replying to my post!
lol

Whoever buys her car is lucky its coming with new mods.

She probably bruised it trying to punch her screen while reading your post.

Ouch on that coolant line, that sucks! And seriously allen head bolts piss me off.

Cut my vacation short and skipped Shift Sector to come home and finish. Saturday I had a couple friends come over to help, one is a good Shelby mechanic and he got the threads cleaned and header bolted up in no time. Super happy he stopped by!

The BMR A-Arms required a lot of persuasion to fit into the BMR K-Member, but here it is ready to go into the car:

And everything buttoned up for the most part:

Got the kinked line cut off and, because the hose went into a hard line, I rigged up a ghetto old school patch. Hope this holds...

Eventually I'll probably replace the oil cooler, because this will bug me.

Then, because the car is drained of coolant in every system, I pulled the blower to do the '13 intercooler I bought from a friend months and months ago:

And that's where she sits now. The plenum is putting up a fight. If that goes smoothly tonight, we can get the coilovers in then it's onto the trailer to have the exhaust finished up and an alignment.
hold on a sec.

I'm really disappointed in the Moroso tanks. The fitment on the IC reservoir was terrible...

Had to cut that stud, and it sits so loose I'm worried it'll puncture the hose. We had to do massive modifications to the hoses to hook it up too...luckily the heat exchanger kit came with a hose for the pump to reservoir, so we used that hose there and modified the factory pump to res hose to hook up the reservoir to the motor side. There was no way to make the factory one on that side work. No instructions, no hoses, no clamps, no way to fit it directly, and the expansion tank didn't even come with a decent looking cap...these sumbishes are NOT cheap. They're well made, but leave a lot to be desired on the install end.

Looks like your ready to rock. I have also not been a fan of any of Moroso products for the mustang ever fitment has always been junk. Also if the stud is cut i would not worry about it poking anything. if you are wrap some black electrical tap around the remaining portion of the stud to create a balled end. Wont have a problem.

Wow, not too often you come across a lady that has her nails done and gets elbow deep in doing her OWN car mods to this extent! KUDOS!

How much do you expect to gain with a HE+Header upgrade? What's the goal of the car going with tubular K+A arms and coil overs? Not too often I come across GT500 owners going into suspension like that. Taking some corners are we?

Oh as for cutting the stud...cut it flush with the back side of the nut...the extra length is not doing anything anyways. This negates the ability for it to puncture any tubing.

Coming a long! Goodluck with the rest of the install.

It is aggravating when you spend a lot of money on a product and it doesn't fit/work like it is suppose to. It seems to happen way to often. I have a True Forged intercooler tank sitting in my room that I will sell for pretty cheap if you want it.

HUGE thanks to Lethal Performance and Lund Racing for amazing service, and BMR, AFCO and Kooks for making killer quality parts.
