I didn't notice until I was done but it looks like Mobil 1 has changed the 5W50 oil.

The first picture is what I used last oil change and the second picture is what I put in the car this oil change. Apparently the "FS" is a European car formula but I don't know if anything has actually changed. I feel like it's ok but I would just like some reassurance from someone that knows more than me.

Do I need to drain this European car formula or am I ok?

Picture is of what is currently in the car. My Google-fu is lacking as I can't find the SAE badge off what I ran before.

This link makes me feel better but I still don't know 5W-50 oil | Mobil™

Found this in O'Riley's website so I suppose I got worked up for nothing. Or so I hope.

I wouldn’t worry about it as long as you are doing regular oil changes.

I’ve run Mobil 1 in my car for many years. I’ll do it every 5000 miles or once a year.
Also, I’ll change it right before or right after an open track event.
Same here. It gets changed every 3K or once a year.

The four-wheelers and motorcycle get amsoil. They get the ever living piss beat out of them everytime I throw a leg over them and have had zero issues. Still holding strong compression and run just like they did when new. Wish I could afford amsoil for the car.

Found Mobil 1 5W50 for ~$7 a quart at Napa, so I got three cases
