Two very interesting intakes
the MMR that can be had with any TB opening size you want and the Ford racing that is only available with the wide oval TB opening.
Pros
MMR - can handle huge boost
Cobra Jet - slightly lighter weight, more advanced runner design due to extensive cfd, and potentially more torque. Plastic construction absorbs less heat from contact w/ hot aluminum heads and transmits less heat from intake runner to air.
cons.
MMR - not specifically optimized for coyote flow especially near bung area same w/ other sheet metal type intakes, expensive vs. the cobra jet.
Cobra Jet - cant FI or N20 so it wont support huge power in the future.
Anyone try a back to back? I think the MMR intake looks excellent especially painted in the same blue tone as the boss coil covers. take a look at Beefcake's engine.
