If you werent there last night, you missed a great show!!! Mark Friday 4/22 on your calendars now to be at MIR, it promises to be even better!

Congrats to Justin Smith(#1 qualifier), Chris Evans, and Andy Manson for running 4.90's last night on a very cold track. Props to all the guys who raced last night, you put on a great show. Huge props to Eric Kenward who made the trip up to MIR all the way from FL and ran a jaw dropping 5.04 dragging the bummper!!!

Congrats to the finals winner Bobby Flippin and the shootout winner Keith Mclaughlin!!!

Also, huge props goes out to the crew at MIR for working their asses off last night to provide a safe race track.

Thanks for the update Ken! I was thinking about heading to Cecil for Saturday to watch but the weather was questionable. Keep us posted. I will make it out for one of these events hopefully soon!

I was there! I was disappointed (but not in you guys!). Nobody had their termis represented! There was just one white fobra with a crooked hood. Mine was at home, hit a fox(or some other form of short - long animal) the Saturday before last and I'm waiting on a new front bumper. :/ I didn't want my stuff flying off while cookin down the track.

Rolled out a little bit after that X275 fella wrecked hard in 1st rd elims. I hope he was alright.
Yall were gettin it done!

Just more testing.
If things go reeeaaallly good, then we may head down to Rockingham. Since this is the very first time on track with a car just built from scratch, It would be pretty impressive if there were no serious bugs to work out.

Yeah, I was hoping to see a few cobras there myself. I'm sure once the weather gets better they will be out.

I talked to Russell after the accident and he was fine. He was more upset about losing the race and how he was going to match the paint job on his car. Such a nice guy, hated to see that happen to him.

I did manage to get part of the accident on video...

Good luck, what are the goals for the car?

I'm sure the same goals all the X275 cars have, 4.80's 1/8 and 7.50's 1/4..

That looked way more rough in person. I'd say he must have slipped on some leftover oil that Honda was slingin 2 runs before, but that was towerside. :D
Glad he's alright.
I feel him on the paint. Getting the front bumper replaced and painted on my Mysti this coming Monday. God forsaken wildlife around here.

unless your planning on running into the 4's in the 1/8th i wouldnt suggest it

No kidding, even the shootout cars are running 5.teens and .20's.

Damn, Bob's car went up on the bars fast on that first run. What did you guys change on the car for the next pass, that looked perfect!

Yeah, I realize that now. 5's maybe this year, but 4's, not even close!

Maybe it was an off week last year, but the one x275 night I went to most of the cars were running low 6's/high 5's. Guess that's changed LOL

Must of been early in the year or a off night because they were running 4.90's and 5.0's mid-season last year.
