Mickey Radial Pro or full slick hands down if these rims are for the dragstrip. What are your plans? The ET Street R if it's street driven with no rain.

What he said^

ET radial pro is top of the line. ET Street R if you want to drive them on the street, no rain.

The NT05R are decent for bolt on applications.

I like my 305/40R18 nitto NT555r's for the street. They actually hook better than the 285/40R18 NT05r's I had on before. I would bet that mickey thompson's are still better though, albeit shorter tread life. They have the ET street S/S that would probably be up your alley.

I've used the NT05R's at the track and they definitely hook on a well prepped track.

I have used NT05R's at the track one time. Could not get them to hook for the life of me. From what I've heard you really need to heat them up before a run. Don't just expect to get on it and go. NT05R is a track tire only IMO. Stick to NT555R or MT Street Radial for good traction on the street
