I can perform light to moderate mechanical work, but for some reason installing a shifter in a new car is nerve racking. I have scoured the internet to gather as much knowledge as I can, but the MGW videos seem to be the weakest. I did install Bob's LCA and they went on without a hitch. I'm looking for any input you can give me or videos I haven't watched to get my nerve up, or should I just spend a few bucks and take it to my Ford mechanic who does Ford Racing parts installations. :bash:

Yea, the shifter causes a few swears lol.

I did remove the reverse lock out solenoid, but left the one on the other side. I didn't have a hard time getting those pins out, but getting them in is what killed me..

Where are you stuck? I'll try to give some pointers. (and also sometimes you do just need to walk away for 30 minutes to calm and start with a clear head.

I would absolutely take a drive to Georgia If I wasn't driving from Northeast Ohio. Anyone have any more up to date videos? The clutch spring removal using vise grips is great!
