Mechanical throttle body gt500?

Is it possible to run a cable throttle body on the stock computer in an 08 GT500?

FRPP sells one, but lists it as aftermarket ecu or for engine swap cars.

Or on the other hand, does anyone know how to speed up the movement for the drive by wire throttle body? I swear my foot moves faster than the damn throttle body does sometimes.
