Okay, I want to order an RXT clutch, but I'm not 100% what part number I need. This is 03 cobra motor & trans. Still has the 10 spline input and I plan on running a stock flywheel.

However, when I look up the part numbers I am unsure of the correct one. Can someone help. Lets keep in mind folks, when I order this I can't return it so I want it right the first time, this is why I am double checking here first. Thanks.

This is from the McLeod site:

Do yourself a favor and convert to 26 spline NOW. The 10 spline input shaft is a weak point. Buy everything together as a balanced unit. You can rebuild your flywheel (McLeod), also add
*Fiore Micro-Click Firewall Adjuster, McLeod Clutch Quadrant and Billet Throwout Bearing Sleeve. Consider adding an aftermarket differential cover - FORD or LPW.

Part No. Application Price Install
6932-07 GM 1997-2010, 2001.5-2010 Ford V8 ; GM LS-1. Ford Modular 4.6/5.4. 1-1/8 x 26 Input

I am pushing it just being able to go with the RXT. RST was what I was going with and got talked into the RXT, it has to end somewhere. The car will never have sticky tires or see the track really, is the 10 spline really that weak? We are talking a street car cruiser here, not a track warrior. Plus it is in a lighter car.

Ive looked at this for a while and ordered a 26 spline 359 bucks and the forged retainer 120 bucks my trans guy put it and the forged retainer for 100 bucks. You can ship Mcleod the flywheel and they will put a new insert for 125 bucks .Get with Lethal performance they know there stuff and are priced right . Doing it right the first time "Priceless" Doing it a second time costs more bucks

congrats! from what i have been reading some people also need an adjustable pivot ball. might not be a bad idea to get one of those just in case.

i installed my rxt the other day (the clutch only) and still don't know if i can get away with my stock pivot ball. i hope to find out tonight and will post up.
