The spindles and brake backing plates are powder coated with Black Vein and a clear coat. Did the sway bar and brackets too. Just wanted it to look nice. I have a thing about rusty parts.
I just took her for a drive, very tight in the corners, no squeaks, rattles or odd noises of any sort. I am pretty happy with the results so far. The spring rates seem to work well, not too bouncy or harsh, great corner feel, and it makes the rear more predictable under hard wheel spinning acceleration. I can't really take her too far until I get the alignment and bump steer corrected. Steering wheel is a tiny bit off too. I more than likely will be waiting until August to completely finish her up due to an upcoming deployment. Once I get some hard miles on her though, I will let everyone know the results.
