Maintance Tips for Newbie

Hello All,

We it is official I have joined the ranks of SVT owners.. I am excited I pick up my 2001 Lightning tonight. It is a lower mile stock truck. Unlike most I am not looking to go faster."yet" lol. I have 10second mustang and old coronet till fill that order. But I wanted to see what maitanence tips you may suggest . The truck was very well maintained but should I look at flushing the intercooler, changing the oil on supercharger. etc. The truck has 58000 miles. any tips would be appreciated..

There is a newb FAQ at the top of this page that will help a lot.
As far as maintenance they are like any other truck.
with it being an 01, it can be prone to spitting spark plugs if they are not torqued correctly, so you might want to check that as a peace of mind.

Thanks,, I always wanted one of these just never thought it would happen. But they are neat trucks... I bought it to be my tow vehicle but already just want to keep it low miles and spotless.. Even the wife likes it. May keep the dodge just to tow race car..lol
