How much louder can The SLP loudmouth be from the magna packs Or Borla stingers. Is it a big difference reason being I can get a good deal on the loudmouth but don't want to be obnoxiously loud. I own a 2004 SVT cobra with the Bassani x pipe and cats.

Are you talking about LM1's or LM2's? LM1's will be noticeably louder than the Magnapacks or Stingers and often can be obnoxious. LM2's will be similar in volume to the Magnapacks and Stingers.

I've had SLP mufflers and now magnapacks. Not sure which SLP mufflers i had before, but i like the sound of the magnapacks much better. Although that is hearing the magnapacks with my now long tube headers, where as before it was with stock manifolds + SLP mufflers

Naw they just had a little bit of a rasp to them that i did not like. Even with my pro chamber they were some what raspy (pro chamber will kind of quiet it down just a hair). Right now i run mac LT's, Mac pro chamber, Magnapacks, and 4 " tips out the back. I love the sound. Still really loud and sounds really clean.

I think if one were to put SLP mufflers on with an X pipe it would sound like absolute garbage

I can vouch for the following set-ups

Stock manifold / BBK Hi Flow X / SLP1's Sounded decent and was not obnoxious unless you were at WOT and even then IMO, it sounded great. At lower RPMs it was mellow and drone at highway was not to bad at all.

Flybys and clips of this setup

Stock manifold/ Bassani O/R X/ SLP1 <---sounds like crap and you might as well run open headers. It is way to loud.

OP, if it is to loud you can always buy a pair of SLP LM2 mufflers off of American Muscle and swap them out. That is what I did.

If anyone wants to try LM1's just have a muffler shop cut/expand you a piece of straight exhaust pipe to fit in place of your muffler now. It sounds exactly same.

Lm2's are the way to go. The lm1's are crap because it's literally a piece of hollow metal. I wouldn't even consider the lm1 a muffler. I have lt's , orx and lm2's and the car is LOUD. Everyone always tells me how loud it is, but only under wot. I think it sounds great too and has a lot of tone. If you wana go slp, go lm2's.
