I purchaced the MF cat back and a set of 4" tips.
to mount the 4"ers i cut 2-3" off the end of the tail
pipes then welded the tips on. i made mounts that
the hanger rod goes in and TIG welded them to the
top of the 4" tips. the hanger rod now works the same
as the included tips:beer: i used stainless wire and welded
all seams on the cat back.no leaks and it sounds awsome:thumbsup:

Those look awesome. Nice job welding it all up. I miss working with exhaust, like I did at Meineke.

Nice!:D
Would you mind posting a pick of a total rear view? I'd like to see the difference compared to stock.

Those look great! Do they have the little hole at the bottom of the tip like the other Magnaflow tips do?

thanks snakey03, yes they have the hole at the center bottom, i always have to spray the hose in there several times to get the soapy water to drain out when washing. Your install looks good !

Iopner, I went on magnaflow's website and see they don't even list any chrome tips. I know the model number is 35117 for the 4" 15 degree 2.5" id 18" slash cut tips. I could swear my receipt and another person on this forum had listed them as chrome. I hope they are ss -is there a way to tell ? I would assume the finish would have a little more "texture" ?

Those are the same one's that I got. They are SS, take a look on the inside of the tip.

Man those 4'' tips look awesome. I like the rolled tips on dark colored cars... They really stand out!
