do you know if that would slip in the 97 dash no problem? Any pictures?
Not sure to be honest with you. I owned a '98 Cobra with a Mach 460 dual deck thingy. They look like the same dimensions. I can measure for you.

I have searched the forums here for the answer, and I see that it most likely can be done.
What year is the radio?
01-03 will interchange, but it will not fit an 04, due to the SAT button.
Even the harness hard shell connectors are different.
I tried to put an 03 Mach 460 head unit in my 04 Mach, and no go.

I am thinking about it. I have to put a fence up around the yard, if there is left over money, and this is still available, then yes. Don't wait on me.
The radio harness connectors on an 03 Mach/GT/Cobra are the same, and the 04 Mach/GT/Cobra radio harnesses are the same.lasercobra said:

Basically, you can interchange 01-03 Mach 460 radios, but the 04's are different.
There might be adapters available though.
I tried to install a 2003 Mustang GT in my 2004 Mach 1 ( both are mach 460) and it wouldn't work.
My 2000 GT Cobra motor swap car does not have Mach 460, so I don't know about that car.
