Yeah yeah it looks ugly :lol1:

But impressive numbers from ZL1 since Bone Stock ZR1 dyno 530-550rwhp
it looks power is still raising when they let go at 6100rpm

I think it looks very aggressive but I still hate the interior

Very nice numbers. I actually like the ZL1, I wouldn't buy one, but GM seemed to do a good job. Can't wait for one to pull up next to me on the highway

I stoped a GM employee today that was driving one. The car looked tuff and sounded good too. I asked him if they have restarted production and he said yes, but wouldnt tell me what the hold up was. He would only say "a quality issue". LOL.

Nice ... With the curb weight / whp ratio , car should trap 118-119 stock

That's what I was thinking and maybe even more. That's about 100 more HP then my 03 Cobra made and I went 11.40 @121 in the heat. I would think that with tires and some good driving these cars should go low 11s at well over 120.
I want one.

Good race for a 2011-12 gt500

Gm didn't want side by side testing with the current 2012 GT500. They knew straight line performance wouldn't have been anything to brag about compared to the current Ford offering.

+1

Considering mine put down 521whp bone stock its gonna come down to driver/ traction.

My run was made right after another 2011 put down 522whp and a new 5.0L with 365whp.

That is a very, very healthy number you put down. A good 30-40rw above most that I've personally seen.

2013?

2011-2012 GT500s are making close to the same power on the dyno and they weigh 300lbs less. I'd like to see a stock ZL1 vs 11/12 GT500 from a rolling start, my money is on the old GT500.

The new GT500 will just flat out rape a ZL1.

It's hard for me to see a fat pig go low 11s down the track, but ya never know.
