Ive had my 01 cobraa for almost two years and kept it pretty close to stock with the exception of an SLP LM1 catback. I finally bit the bullit and installed a set of lontubes and an off road x-pipe.........ummmmmm it's really loud. I was expecting the loudness but the raspy tone between 2500-3000 is a little obnoxious. that is all:banana:

I have the same setup except I still have stock manifolds. It is loud but I expected it.:rockon: If its the raspiness you don't like, swap out the x for a prochamber or other h-pipe.

seems like your car is already loud. If you can't live with the rasp .... then get aftermarket catted H-pipes or prochambers which is similar to a hybrid of both H and X exhausts. +1 on the "SVTP exhaust soundboard"!

Flowmaster and h-pipe.

xpipes are known to make rasp. however some people like that. its personal preference, if you want deep low, h pipe. if you want more modern racey type with some rasp, xpipe.

I had the catless x-pipe/ slp lm1 with stock manifolds set up and loved it, but I live in Kalifornia and the gayness of my state prevented me from keeping it. Had to have slp high flow cats welded in so when I get pulled over I can at least say I had cats (still loud as F).
Screw what everyone says SLP LM1's are sick.
Favorite part of that set up was when you passed someone you know that not only did you blow their ear drums out you scared the **** out of them.
Keep it LOUD! :rockon::beer:
