I know this has probably been asked before, but I searched it and could not find anything about the SLP 1 3/4 longtube headers. I am about to do a clutch install in my 03 cobra and wanted to know if I have to take the headers off to get the trans or bell housing off? Anyone with SLP's please help.

Just so everyone knows the transmission and bell housing came off and out without a fuss. Now for the clutch to be sent off to Mcleod racing to be rebuilt.

I did this back in Janurary. It was a PITA. I have the SLP heads, everything was simple enough, except for the starter bolts. I used a 36 inch extention with a universal and a 9 inch extention with a swivel socket, along with a lot of "why the hell am I doing this!!!"
It can be done.
