I'll ask my buddy, he had the catted bassani X and stingers.

My dad came over to help with some house projects.

Will a catted X pipe be noticeably quieter? I definitely want to hear my eaton whining

For what it's worth I have a magnaflow catted X with stingers and I can hear the eaton whine. I'm tempted to go O/R but think I prolly will keep this set up for now. I get compliments on it all the time.

Very nice car. At this rate it's gonna run you broke lol. I like your exhaust choice, but am a little hesitant to do it myself. I think I'm gonna try going catless on my m58 and see how that sounds first

I think you might have near the record for the most mods installed with the first month of ownership. LOL. Nice DSG Cobra. My favorite color! Every time I see one, it makes me miss the one I loved and let go. :(

Ha thanks! I knew a bunch of the stuff I wanted to do before I even got the car. Hopefully will have them soon, then I've got a few other things in line but they will take some time.

Glad to hear everyone likes DSG so much. It is my favorite color. It's simple and classy in my book. I hope to compliment it with some other appearance changes I have in mind.

I pretty much love any performance car in dark gray, metallic or non-metallic. Just a great color, giving a touch of dark sinister without the hassles of black paint. My next muscle car (not a Mustang) which I'll be buying in March of 2017 is a dark gray paint, very similar I think to your Dark Shadow Gray. My wife loves dark gray, too. :)

Makes things easier when the boss likes the color too.

Finally got the wheels ordered. I don't like playing games and not sharing specs. Never understood that. But from my research this is what I came up with. And what I ordered. Also, wanted to do something that hadn't been done on a cobra yet. Waiting to hear from the machinist to get a schedule. Rough idea is 2-3 months completion.

I do however like there to be a little suspense. So I'll keep the design and finish on the dl for now at least.

I also sold the carbon fiber JLT CAI on the car currently, made enough off of it to actually make $2 after ordering the replacement ha. I got a JLT RAI color matched. I personally like the look better as well as the fact that putting the filter in the location the CAI is makes me a bit nervous. Should have that sometime next week it looks like.

Had a pretty productive night. Got the CAI out, changed the plugs and coil covers, then cleaned the fender liner while I had it out. Number 8 was a little crusty. Anything to worry about?

The coil covers will match better when I get the valve covers powdered this winter.
