Livernois 2011 Mustang CAI/Tune Results

The car, a 6-speed manual, was baselined with a stock tune before the install with roughly 5,000 miles and made 390 RWHP / 384 RWTQ. The only modification was OEM Shelby GT500 mufflers.

With our previous dyno tune loaded, it made 418 RWHP / 400 RWTQ.

After installing the Steeda CAI and re-tuning, it made 430 RWHP / 410 RWTQ. A gain of 12 RWHP / 10 RWTQ.

Very nice! Does the new 5.0 seem to respond to mods as well as the the terminators do? Thats pretty good power for a basically stock motor.

Are the 2011 GT500 mufflers a direct bolt in on a 2011 GT? Does it sound closer to a GT500 or still a eruo V8 sound?

They are indeed a direct bolt in. They didn't do anything for power, but do sound better.... you can actually hear the car now

still sounds very euro in comparison to pats cars but sounds very throaty still.

The firing order is why it sounds like that.

I think with a full exhaust (headers, catted mid pipe and cat back) you will see almost 460RWHP after tuning.

not sure about the style opinion against the terminator. Im still not liking the rear of the 11.
