I love how you vette boys are sooo sensitive.:D

Few facts for you. I wasn't at the track picking on poor little Lingenfelter full built 427 Z06s. The Z06 called out the Lightning for a $$ race. He ask for the hit and I gave it to him. Then drove around him in a 4,700# brick (that I trailered to track btw) for the win. A nose or 2 cars it pays the same. Therefore I beat the brakes off of it.

That Z is one of the quickest N/A vette on DRs I've ever seen. He suprised me and dropped 2 cars on me before I got off the line. The truck got out good and took the win. It could have went the other way.

At the end of the night, add one more win for the SVT heavy weights.

or some of us have the money to afford a truck and trailer.

driving it to the track, racing, then driving home is novel and all, but is a hassle. where do you carry the tools, spares, tires, etc. or do you just put the extra miles on the slicks and skinnies for no reason? where do you put that stuff when you're running the truck at the track and feel it's safe and won't get stolen? why risk driving on slicks and skinnies and something happen? why put those extra miles on the vehicle? if something breaks, and something always will, now you have to wait around and pay for a tow.

if you bring a vehicle to the track, stock to NHRA, it's a good idea to trailer it. if something breaks, no stress, already have the way home. you can go race with peace of mind.
