I'm ready to order a set of axlebacks and I'm looking for something light. It's ok to be little noisy but I definitely don't want a muffler delete.:shrug:

borla s type is loud but light. Im guessing the borla tourings are around the same weight nut quieter. but there are probably cheaper options
Are the GT 500's real heavy??
Kooks or JBA's are pretty quiet and light

I didn't weigh them, but with the stocker in one hand and the GT500 in the other I couldn't really feel a difference.
That's cause the GT500's are only lighter by 3lbs per side per my scale.

I have the MRT mufflers with cat delete pips and they sound real good. Not as loud as i thought with the cats gone and no drone. And cost me $530 through Jason over on modded mustangs.

If my memory serves me right, the stock mufflers are 41 lbs. Kooks are 21 lbs.
gt500's are 18lbs each btw. I ran them with my jba off road h pipe and i almost lost my mind and went back to my muffler delete.
the quiet light muffler king is the 50 state legal Ford racing muffler.. make sure you get the 50 state noise legal not the 49 state.
