Personally, I think there is life elsewhere in our universe. It is simply too vast for the only life to exist is here on earth.

As far as "intelligent" life I would think it does as well, but it could be thousands of light years away and we will likely never know.

they would never make it to earth because of radiation from the sun. we as a species still dont have the technology to protect deep space travelers from the sun's harmful particles it emits. the earth's atmosphere protects life from 99% of these particles. so youre saying we digressed in our technology? :??:
