She looks so peaceful, I get some nervous sometimes when I see her like this. As of lately her breathing has slowed down at night. She’s been doing more panting for day to day things. Even getting onto the couch is a chore.
I think so. Mom is pretty well ready to cave I think, dad not so much. Granted he never had pets growing up.Awesome pic. Thanks for sharing!
Shouldn't it be mandatory that every kid has to have at least one dog or a horse during their childhood?
If it was, the world would be a much better place.
The nervous thing stinks, I still find myself checking when I get home to make sure mine didn’t get sick on the rug by the door. Hopefully she’ll be ok for a bitView attachment 1800814

Think positive my friend, it will be alright! Just do the best you can to keep things steady. Keep your head up brother.well, shit... blood work came back kind of mixed, some kidney levels are down (which is good) but creatinine is creeping up. We have an appointment with a specialist but not until August... really dont know what else can be done other than up her subcutaneous fluids.

How’s it working out? I know pitbulls are prone for bad hips later on in life. She turns 12 in October. She’s very active still, which is crazy when she walks normal she loses her footing and slips. When she runs her back legs just kinda hop, however she’s fast as hell still.

Ask your vet about Adequan. It's an injectable used for joint pain, lowered range of motion, and limpness. My senior Boxer fully tore his ACL and I didn't want to put him through surgery because he was actually getting around pretty well, so my vet prescribed Adequan. He went back to standing up to look at food on the counter, jumping, playing, running, etc. Amazing drug. Her hips keep giving out, gonna see what the vet suggests as far as treatment aside surgery since I know she’s to old.
I’ll ask about that, thank you very much. Happy to hear your boxer is happy and healthy!Ask your vet about Adequan. It's an injectable used for joint pain, lowered range of motion, and limpness.
