Nice! I like the idea of not reaching over a hot pot or skillet to cook.

I don't think I posted this when I bought it... These things are as dangerous (to my wallet) as guns. Haha

Picked up a SunCoast stage 2 rebuild/upgrade kit for the 10R80 in my F150. The removal and teardown only took a day but the reverse operation will take a lot longer as I have no idea what I'm doing....lol! Swapping the hard parts is pretty straight forward, just have to put everything back in the right order. The tricky part will be setting all the clutch clearances. Let the adventure begin!

Congrats on taking the plunge! Not many on here would delve into a 10R80. I tip my hat to you for your courage

Nice, I picked up one of these for the house. Dog shook himself out inside with the sun going across the room and I knew something had to be done, just like the swiffer commercial lol.

Yeah I like my air purifiers as well. Got three of these black ones. One in man land, one in the bedroom and one in the living room. They work pretty well with a three filter system. Screen is washable, then charcoal filter is washable a few times and the actual filter I clean but replace once a year. Bedroom gets the dirtiest by far. Then got one of these little ones in black on my desk in man land.

Yep, we have a whole house system right in the air handler and a small one like the ones above in the master bedroom.

I'm not normally one to flaunt my wealth but in this instance I just have to make an exception

$600 dollars, fresh from a theft recovery last week.

Seriously though, I picked this up off a friend to have as a beater to keep up state. I've actually known this truck since 2014 and it was really nice back then, now not so much.

1996 XLT 5.0L 5spd manual, 130,000 miles. Currently the ignition cylinder is busted out (I cobbled it back together to make it work) and the alternator isn't working.

Welcome back to the club :) Are you going to fix the rust?

honestly probably not. I'll do something about the pass fender so I can use that door but thats about it. I think this truck had some rust "repair" done at one point, the pass rear quarter I can see filler, guess that explains why it looked so nice for a NY truck when I saw it 9 years ago.

This is just a beater, not a project. If I wanted something to throw the entire Desolate Motorsports catalog at I'd go out west and buy a high mile rust free chassis to bring home.

Need some advice. I think I am going with these wheels.

Blue center cap or no?

If you like them, go for it. I just have never found the dark colored wheels appealing on any level. Silver, brushed, polished or chrome will require effort to keep them looking their best, but even dirty, they're better looking than dark wheels.
