I'll try to grab a shot of where I drilled if someone else doesn't post (car is in storage). I'm not a huge fan of hood pins (my hood does not have a metal reinforced latch section), but I purchased the hood from someone else who ran it on their car with no pins. They drove it that way for over a year. One day on the highway it flew up, hit the center of the roof and left a huge bowl shaped dent; it landed on the side of the road, undamaged (haha). He had the hood repainted, and added pins. I purchased it soon after for a price I couldn't pass up. Always loved how the hood looked on his car (his was also silver).anyone have pics of under the hood where they installed the hood pins?
i'll have my hood next week.. have to figure out a place for the hood pins.
kinda dont wanna drill holes in the cobra..but better safe than a busted windshield.
not sure how much my hood is gonna weigh. i've seen alot of cars with fiberglass hoods with no hood pins.

Full MM coilover conversion (Front/Back), with an IRS swap in the rear. So I don't know exactly how low, but I can wedge one finger in between the fender and top of the tire. I just kept spinning the lower spring perch until I got it exactly where I wanted, haha.
Another angle (only had a 285 in the rear in this shot):
