Best looking rims, IMO, in gray or black.

Haven't been able to find them in 17x9.:??:

Cool! Thanks.

How close do yours match the DSG? Torn between gray and black. Always liked black rims, but every time I see the anthracite on a GT, I'm in love.

The color's pretty close but the wheels are a little bit lighter. Enough to notice but no one has said it looks bad because of the difference. In person, I've had several compliments and no complaints about their looks. [Online people are tougher critics]. 9" up front and 10.5" in the back is the way I would go if I used Bullitts in the summer.

I've always liked the Bullet wheels, but not on the Cobra. They're more GT wheels in my opinion. Guess that's because you usually find them on GTs. They're sweet looking though. Just look at the pictures posted in this thread.

mjchip,

Very nice. I think the bullitt wheels look great in 18 inches...especially on your car. Are those Sparco Roadsters? If so...how do you like them? Did you sacrifice too much comfort? Is the seating position to upright? Also can you tell us more about how you got those stripes. I did not like the idea until I saw them on your car!

Anyone,

Can anyone make mjchips car mineral grey...and maybe do one of those wheels being chrome???

Will the anthricite wheel clash too much with MG?

Hey,

Yes, the seats are Sparco Roadsters. I love them. They are more comfortable than the stock seats for me (5'8" and about 185lbs). The seating position is a little more upright than I would've liked but just a smidge.

The stripes are temporarily done with decals. I wanted to see if I liked them before getting them painted on. Needless to say, I'll be having them painted on in Quicksilver metallic.

I think that the wheels will look good with mineral grey.

Yes the knockoffs came from a nice guy on ebay.

See below for my suspension mods.

I have 18" bullitt wheels on my silver 03 Cobra. I have pics, if you want to email me, but can't post attachments on this forum.
