Legal or not, thats what tinted windows are for. That makes everything legal

Exactly someone pass me another beer:beer:. Its illegal in NC for sure. I think if you've got a sober driver you should be able to you could make the argument the passanger could distract the driver if they are drunk but if I am drunk without a beer I am going to be more of a distraction than if I have a cold one in my hand.

Any LA folks, the person said around quitting time in LA C-stores will put like king cans and 22oz bottles on ice right in the front of the C-stores and all the carpools pull in and grab a cold one.

I can believe the government strong armed states into stopping the practice with the threat of withholding road funding, the feds did that with the .10 to .08 limit here.
I tried googling for the open container states and could not find anything.

another thing. My suv and everyone else I know with one has pretty dark windows from the factory except the fronts. With the exception of the driver (svtp friendly comment) we bring road sodas all the time on the way to a bar and toss the emptys under the seats just in case

My buddy was telling me and my GF that here in North Carolina.
I figured it was just to get her to stop bitching while driving to the race.
but maybe.... just maybe....
