Well, after a long year and a lot of work happening to my car, she is just about finshed. But just to let everyone know whats going on. The motor is finshed. With the:
new Diamond pistons heads,
new manley piston rods,
compression changed to 9:5:1 from 8:5:1,
re-port and polish of heads,
new ford racing valves,
JPC manifold,
Bassani axle back,
IW 10% ovedrive pulley,
3" pulley swap on blower (was 2.85 but had to go up because of the overdrive pulley),
Roush idler with a 90mm pulley
and no meth and stock cams
with all this, at 17lbs (used to be 15lbs) it put down 563rwhp and 533torque
(before it was 560/510 with the meth)
as we speak, Dez is installing some Comp Cams Stage 2 VSR
Hoping to see 600 with this new setup. Dez said it drives like a new machine and boost right away.
Car will be done with the cams and tuned next week. Can't wait!:beer:
