KingBlack's Coyote Intake Manifold Analysis *SERIOUS DISCUSSION*

Hi, hopefully not a stupid question but need some help please. I have 2015 f150 v8 coyote gen 2 engine. The imrc flap has broken on bank 1 and I have to replace. Ford is quoting $650 for new intake assembly but on back order currently, probably due to same issue, no aftermarket yet in my price range.
I have found lots of mustang intakes taken off 15-17 year models v8's and I've also found gen 3 coyote engine intakes online much cheaper.
My question is will the intake from the gen 3 be a bolt on replacement for mine or will it need to be modified like the map sensor install on the mustang intake?

Lund racing has a page on installing the 2018 GT intake on previous models of the Coyote.
It might help with your issue.
