KB 2.2 oil

Well here is the response I got from KB about oil for the blower. This is what they use.

"We use a straight 50W full synthetic oil from Redline in our compressors. The problem is no production vehicles use a straight weight oil, modern engines use a multi-weight oil. Unless you have a local race or offroad shop you won't find any in the average parts store. You'd have to order it from us in 8 oz. bottles for $4.50 + shipping or order from and online store or Redline direct."

Never tried looking for it, just order from redline.

I got two bottles from KB for a very good price...only took about 2/3 of a bottle to fill mine up to the mark...

I bought Royal Purple strait 50 from Napa.

I know for the KBs it says 15,000 miles if I'm not mistaken...

Never tried looking for it, just order from redline.

I recently picked up a quart of Redline straight 50 from summit racing. Just wait until you need to order somthing else and get the oil too, so you dont get stuck with a $10 handing charge just for a quart of oil.

KB does not recommend Royal Purple for some reason.
