How much lighter is this balancer than the factory one? Some people have said that an aftermarket Dampner pulley causes the factory oil pump gears to break. That makes absolutely no sense to me and must be a rumor. I would think this lightweight alternator pulley combined with this lightweight Dampner pulley would only help the harmonics of the motor at high RPM's also making the motor REV faster and more freely. I am NA and looking for every hp available.... So with both of these I could expect 6-8rwhp?

It's about .8 lbs lighter then the standard size balance the offer witch is a good bit lighter then a factory unit.
Aftermarket dampeners do not break oil pump gears. Improperly tightened balancers can however.

Ok good deal. Did your NA car have an EWP on it also (Electric Water Pump)?
When it went 9.99 I believe we borrowed the one off of our 2011 (the wrapped one).
