Issues stabbing the steering rack

Anyone know how to transfer the internals from one rack housing to another?

That sucks….i remember when i was torquing down AN fittings on my AGR rack and it suddenly went loose and i was like oh no i just stripped it…..well it was worse…the housing had cracked. I filled up the curse jar on that one. So youre not the only one.

Its pretty easy to swap inner tie rods but not sure about the internals…

My understanding is it requires special tools; that’s not to say you couldn’t do it but may take more money.

Got a new replacement rack and fortunately had my brain with me this time, installed fine... I still have the other rack if anyone’s interested. Can probably rethreaded and do an AN conversion.
