Is 22lbs, 17*, 93 Octane Tune safe (Whippled Terminator)

Curious to responses, as I've been doing some research of my own, but would like your thoughts/comments...

Car has all normal mods of a Whippled Terminator

Older style Whipple
RR 3.0 Upper & 4lb Lower
Bassani Mid-Lengths

Tune Details:
Street Tune
93 Octane
22lbs of boost
17* timing
A/F conservative
585/585 (RWHP/RWTQ) - Dyno Jet

Can anybody suggest better than average tuner who is reputible and within driving distance of the Louisville, KY area???

That's not safe for two reasons.

First, that's way too much spark advance for 22psi on 93 pump. Second, you shouldn't run anything over 19psi on 93 pump gas anyway.

Up your octane to at least 96 and you will be good to go.

What upper & lower do you have?? Sounds like we may have about the same..3.2 upper 6lbs lower..street tune about 16 degrees of timing ..Max peak boost 21.5...I would lower the timing a bit! or up the octane!!

too much boost for pump gas IMO
put the stock lower back on for 17psi
600rwhp is possible on 17psi and decent timing

PM me and I'll give you Lee Blankenship's phone number. Who tuned it this time? Lee isn't very busy and I would tell him to work you in on my time if you needed it. I would ride over there to watch also. I'm picking my car up tomorrow (hopefully) and dropping it off at his shop tomorrow night or Monday morning. I'm sure he would try to work that car in definitely. He's doing line loc, Whipple install, ac427cobra's bushing kit, level 5 axles, and Tune. Probably a few more things but I can't remember now.

Hey Josh if you want to go down on boost I have a 2lb lower ring somewhere just sitting. It's only got about 10 miles on it. I'll check and see if I can find it.
