My first question is what do you consider the stock whipple pulley size, 3.50, 3.375, 3.00? I run a 3.375 and a 4 pound lower, 490HP basic street tune-510HP on the more aggressive street tune in my opinion a 3.375 upper with a 6 pound lower is pushing it, I'm seeing 14-14.5 pounds.

The amount of boost all depends on the amount of flow for each engine. Stock bottom end, but what about the top. The amount of boost all depends on the amount of flow per engine. The better flowing heads, cams, heads, intake, etc, the less boost you will see. The more the boost you see, not necessarily, but in theory the harder it is on your bottom end if I'm not mistaken. If you have a great tune and know when and how to go into boost, I think it could be possible to handle it, but you could be gambling... Stan
