obviously with a converter you would be able to launch higher rpm. i think with stock you can only launch at lik 1500
Im not expecting to pull the front wheels, but this is not very good. I've got to be doing something wrong
you braking it up as high as you can?
I feel your pain. Went and ran a local 1/8 last night. best 60' was 2.01. With the brake on My back tires where turning over at 1500rpm while I was trying to stage up. GRRR. but i did beat 5.0 with more mods than me

I need to stop dicking around and put a converter in this thing already.
I didn't think a trans brake was worth doing with a stock converter?
Don't believe everything you read on the internet...
it doesn't make a huge difference but does give about 700 more rpm before pushing through.
My car wouldn't pull better than a 1.98-2.0 60' before I put the 3c in. This is with the Procharger. I tried everything. The converter is just too tight and doesnt allow the supercharger to stay in its power band for long. I now pull easy 1.6 60's and the car has woken up majorly.
Okay even that little bit will help, guess ill look into doing it.
Best I've done is a 1.56 with the TVS on a stock converter.
Gotta love that TVS low end!
I tried to stall my car to 1500 RPM's and it wanted to push. Only mustered up a 2.409 60 ft.
