a good shifter and a good deal at $129? I've got a Shelby store credit of $30 and it is on sale.

How hard to install on jack stands?

I guess I missed all the hubbub about the new MGW. Sure looks like quality. And it looks like a real pain to install without a lift!

Hmmm, maybe I'll wait until I need a clutch.

Yes that is a pretty good deal for $129, and yes it is a good shifter offering improved shift performance/feel over the stock shifter.

But the MGW shifter is the one I would install if it was available at the time.

From what I understand the FRPP shifter is a stock unit with different bushings and a shorter shifter handle.

This.

And only slightly stiffer offset springs.

Go with the MGW and don't look back. You don't have to have a lift to install it. You can do it on jackstands.

You don't have to take the trans down or anything. Just drop the driveshaft off the front flange and everything will go in/out from the bottom just fine.

The MGW does require a little more work on the top side, but the results will be well worth it.
