Look newbie. No where on the 93 Cobra does it say SVT other than the SVT certificate. Not on the window sticker or anything. If this guy doesn't have a certificate and he is new to the Cobra world then that is not a stupid question. And what does it matter to you you don't even own a Cobra. easy way to see if a 93 is a real cobra is to look at the engine code in the vin#. it will be a "D". I think its the 8th letter in the vin. Really the best way to tell.

i just purchased one this weekend and was just wondering out of curiosity. I know it doesn't say svt anywhere on it.

Is it just an unwritten rule that cobras from 93 on are svt or did svt step in in 94?
