My cobra has 82k miles, the irs is starting to chatter going over bumps and feeling a little sloppy. I considered the delrin bushings but don't wanna pay that kind of money if its not needed. What are some must have parts when rebuilding my irs? Car is street driven only. Tried searching but couldn't find what I wanted to hear. Thank u.

I have a pinion seal leaking too, so I also got that to replace, I wanna do this right. The car does have the stock springs still and I plan to keep them. I had hr race springs but got tired of it dragging the ground here in ky.

No, he isn't talking about springs for the car, spring as in spend the money on the removal tools to get the factory bushings out. You can send them back for a credit when you are done. I am getting ready to do two of these kits and possibly another 2 after that. The car will feel totally different after. It will be amazing.

The land of commies and socialists!
you will wish you had done it sooner. oh, and spring for the removal tools - they are worth their weight in gold for this install.

I would only get them if you don't have access to a hydraulic press.

Also make sure you have an extra drill bit when you drill the holes for the greese fittings. Mine broke while drilling one of the holes on the upper control arms.

IMO there's no reason NOT to get them since you can return them for full credit, they can only help the install go smoother

Now all i need to do is find the stuff i need to rebuild my differential while i have everything apart. I need a pinion seal for sure, but i am not sure if i should replace the bearings too? when turning my driveshaft by hand it seems to have a little play in the ring and pinion? is a little play normal? I have worked on almost every part of the car but not the rearend on this car or any other car yet. So this will be my first so any info would be great! Thanks for the the input
