IRS questions

This may be a stupid question but I'm curious as to how well the new IRS performs on the 2015 GT. I've always been a mustang fan but starting to get more hands on and looking to buy a 2015 but the IRS throws me off. I'm looking to do pulls down the highway and have a daily driver I can take to the strip on the weekends

Have you taken it to the strip at all, I'm afraid if I launch it I'll end up breaking a CV joint or something else once I put more mods on it (I want to stay as close to full bolt on as possible)

The irs is great around town and feels planted in turns. However, the drag strip will reveal nasty wheel hop. I imagine you can replace bushings and such that will increase noise and vibration. If I were you, I would add up the cost of changing all of the bushings and performance half shafts.

IMO, it works really well.

My experience in stock form you will be fine. If you add any significant power adders, you will need to upgrade.
