intercooler problem

anyone had there intercooler stop working just trying to figure out how it really operates with the relay if i jump it through the relay i can get it to come on just trying to get the lowdown thanks.

Just jump it,it should turn on and circulate the water in the res.

If your fluid isnt moving get a new pump. The fluid should be moving if you jump it as shown above.

What kind of wire and connectors are you guys using to jump the ic?

If you think its having an issue then the pump is more than likely going out. Replace it and be done with it. I know my Hp #s were down because my pump was failing.

any copper insulated wire ~12 to 14ga and male ended connectors will work

I wouldn't take a chance if it may be failing though, just replace it.

The jumper is more for filling/changing the IC fluid.

thanks guys for all the info the pump works if i get up under the car an push up on the connector at the pump but only if i have the jumper wire hooked up but my buddys mystic cobra his ic pump come on as soon as he turns the key on what i am trying to figure is how it operates stock like how its cycle works .

^^^The pump wont turn on till it reaches a certain temp.That`s why you use the jumper wire to test it.

My connector that goes to the pump gets loose somethimes. If you wiggle it and reseat it it should come on. I think I am going have to fix mine when I get back too.
