That's why Tifosi specified "in stock form", and I agree with his opinion.

I also agree with your assessment as well when speaking about modified 4.6s. so long as you don't go FI and keep the rpm under 7200, the 4.6s are pretty reliable, and bulletproof. :)

What’s everyone’s thoughts on spraying Seafoam cleaner in past the MAF sensor somewhere with the engine running...? Do you think it would clean the intercooler?

That doesn't sound good. All of the junk removed would go into the cylinders... if you have cats this can't be good. I think removing it is really the only acceptable way to clean it. Maybe I'm wrong.
