intercooler bolts

Well i know that you are not "supposed " to reuse the bolts for the intercooler which i get bit are those bolts really specific? Can i just use the same size/grade but not have to spend the 5-10$ a piece that ford wants if i can get them elsewhere? Any feedback would be great. About to do a blower swap and would love to save some coin

I reused mine when I installed my Whipple. Don't think they are specific so I would reuse them or go to Ace Hardware.

You do not reuse the FACTORY bolts. Grab one of your stock bolts and go to true value or american hardware and get the same length and thread bolt in a sockethead SS bolt along with some washers. $13 and you are done and never have to change them again.

If you don't have the stock bolts anymore, search. The size has been posted. I don't recall or I would list it.

Yup and it is highly recommended

make sure to use lock-tight on the bolts

RED Loctite according to Whipple's installation instructions.

New bolts are a lot cheaper than a new motor!!!!
