To get straight to the point,
I pulled my blower and lower intake manifold and ordered new Fel-Pro MS96114 for the reinstall. I placed the gaskets down on the head, in their alignment posts, and noticed the rings for the bolts did not line up with the threaded holes in the heads.
I attempted the install anyways thinking it would self align but no go, just makes the bolts difficult to get into the threads.
I ordered a new Fel-Pro MS96114 thinking I just received a bad set. Nope, the new set is exactly the same. I ordered an OE set from Ford only to find out they also don't line up, although better than the Fel-Pro sets.
Has anybody had this issue? If so, were you able to find a gasket set that lined up properly?
Any help is much appreciated, I really want to get this thing fired up again.
