i've had bbk longtube headers with the o/r H pipe on my 99 cobra for some time now any the check engine light comes on and throws this code. when the stock exhaust is on it, the code goes away however. i just pulled the egr valve and tube off to make sure it was clear and all that good stuff. anybody have a clue what i can do about this other than removing the exhaust? there anything that fools the sensor into thinking its good or any other method of clearing this so i can pass emissions w/out having to remove the exhaust? :bash:

You can turn off the EGR in the computer.
any dealer would be able to do this?
I had the same problem with my Hookers. I never found a cure. Just delete the egr.

That would be illegal for a dealer to do. You would need to puchase a tune from an aftermarket vendor.
