Ok time for you guys to step and be honest here.
I'm reading two different things from 2 people i respect and honestly don't know what to believe.
One says the Liberty 26 input shaft is 100% made for our cars then the other says it's not but D&D is.
So whats the truth here, which one is made 100% for our cars honestly?

Postban was one of the people i was speaking about.
Now my question is, why do some that have the D&D say this isn't true and the D&D unit is 100% made for our cars?
Is it both are made for this car and the people who bought the D&D are just saying this to justify them buying the d&d unit for more money?

LOL

Anyway ... at what point is the 10 vs the 26 a real issue? Is this always a good thing to do no matter what power you put down?

Someone correct me if i am wrong on this...

26 spline gives more surface area to distribute the torque load, thus preventing or helping to prevent the input shaft from snapping in two... not needed but recommended if you mod the car or if you drive the car hard(powershift etc...)

They both work the same....one costs more than the other. Liberty made theirs specifically for our cars......D&D I don't know, but they do a lot of Viper retrofit for our cars. You decide.

Here are the two input shafts together. The D&D has longer splines. It really means nothing when you view the trans with the shaft installed and see how much actually extends past the retainer.

Both D&D and Liberty have back ordered the cores they use to make their input shafts with no projected dates of arrival.

Neither of these can be bought right now.

:-(
