Are any of you having a noise of something engaging when you first step into the clutch to shift into first? I am wondering why my 1400 mile 2 month old (just purchased) 03 Cobra is doing this. As soon as the infamous tick came a long, now I hear this. Any thoughts out there? Thanks.:burn:

Yeah. mine does the same thing. Depress the clutch, and as you slip the shifter into first gear, I hear a clunk and the driveline loads up. And the clutch is as adjusted as Ford's plastic pos will allow.
It's normal. If it does not do it you got a lemon:-D
