Videos are from KCIR yesterday. It was unusually warm in the low 70's and the track was hooking good. I have a helmet cam mounted at the top of the roll bar behind my right shoulder. 9,000 rpm is at the top of the tack.

The first run I bogged off the line - you can see the rpms drop very low at the launch. I have also discovered this cam has a very narrow power peak. You can see this effect when the rpms drop below 7,000 in the burnout box on the last 3 runs.

Files are 10-15MB each, but hope you guys enjoy them.

Good runs, what were your times ?

Best so far is a 9.68 @ 142.5. Was going 9.70s at 142.x yesterday. Slicks were about done (usually get about 12-15 good runs on them) and the 60-fts were off a bit.

Nice website!! Hey Marc I saw your video of your race on Jun, 1999 at Tulsa International raceway. I didn’t know speed vision channel televised there? Was this at a mid America Shelby meet?? Boy speed channel sure has gone down hill over the years. I would love to watch mustang stuff like your video on tv.


By the way I read your progress of your motor build up over the years. You sure have spent some serious money for your racing addiction… HAHA.. I bet we all wish we could do the same thing!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

Your a PIMP Mark. I have always loved your website & build up. One day I will be running in the 9's. Just need to spend a little more money..

I just looked on the time slip for that last run. That Chebby had a big block and nitrous. I actually out ET'd him, though. I went 9.75 @ 141.1 with a 1.38 60-ft to his 9.91 @ 136.0 with a 1.55 60-ft. He got there first because he cut a .063 light to my .565.
